►  Training Flight School - Ft. Lewis, Washington - Sept 14, 1964
►  ROTC as a LT. under President Johnson Aviation Schooling.

 

      

L. Hawes, Santos, Anderson:  3rd of the 18th Fliers

May 24, 1966 - Capt. Duke Anderson Career ended; he was Shot Down 6 times and Crash Landed 7 times.  He was Forward Observer of HQ-Btry, calling Fire Missions for B and C -Btry at An-Khe Vietnam.  3/ 18 Artillery he flew the Helicopter Bubble and L-19 Plane.  Duke now walk's after 38 years in Wheel Chair. Both of Duke Knee `s were repaired.
